The Celsius Multifuel boiler combines the advantages of boilers heated by wood (e.g.: easy to obtain fuel, economic operation, etc.), with the comfort of pellet boilers (automatic mode). If necessary it can even be operated with coal or agricultural waste.
For ease of use this range of boilers contains two fireboxes. In one of them conventional fuel can be used (wood, coal, etc.), while pellets of high energy content can be burnt in the other.
When in pellet mode the operation of the appliance is fully automatic and setting the boiler to conventional mode allows the above mentioned conventional fuels to be applied through the firing door. The system will automatically change to pellet mode if the temperature of the heating water drops below a specified value.
Ash produced in either fire box is collected in a central deposit, which makes cleaning the appliance an easier task. The quantity of the used fuel depends on the quality of the pellets and the heat demand on the system.
Pellet quality depends on the used raw material (wood, energy grass, straw, agricultural waste, other waste), and furthermore it depends on the production process: ratio of mixing, pressing, dry content, etc. The highest quality pellets are made of wood (sawdust), properly pressed (by about 500 t), with low moisture content (17%), packed and stored in dry area. The highest quality pellets are made of sawdust, pressed at about 500t, with low moisture content, before being packed and stored in a dry area.
The heat demand of the system can be calculated quite precisely. Hot water can also be reasonably provided from the system by putting in an indirect boiler. Celsius Multifuel boilers can deliver the most economic automatic heating and hot water supplies independently of big energy manufacturers.
